Like a lot of posters I found these propellers in my Dad's garage and would like more info. They don't seem to be in any of the Sensenich info I've found so far. They are both 90HSP90 model or DES #. They are both HP 160and RPM 1850. One has an additional number, A0-42-15410. The serial numbers are 66423 and 43808. One has the metal hub. Both have large wooden nose cones and one has a smaller metal cone as well.

Thank you for any good info.

These props were made to fit the Ryan PT-22 primary trainer during WW-II. This plane was equipped with a Kinner R-56 engine rated at 160 hp. This would be consistent with the large wooden nose cones, too. Although I cannot document it, I strongly suspect the A0-42-15410 is a military contract number for a contract let in 1942.

Thank you. Now that I look at pictures of the PT-22 I see that you are spot on. Those propellers look identical. My dad was an instructor for the Army Air Corps. and quite likely used the PT-22.
