This Paragon propeller for the Curtiss JN4C is in original condition, with clear evidence of former usage, including damage to both tips which appears to be the result of contact with a wire, perhaps a fence. There is also identation in the hub indicating the installation of a pressure plate for use on the OX5 engine. This propeller was likely damaged then removed as non-airworthy, but has been well preserved with original varnish in good condition, and original decals in good to excellent condition (one blotch of paint on one decal). Depending on your point of view, the "damage" at the tips actually adds to the value of the piece as a collectible, since it was acquired during actual intended use on the designated aircraft.
