Rare 1912 Paragon Propeller

Comments: This is one of the earliest propellers in my entire collection, built by the American Propeller Company some time between 1910 and 1912. The company began making propellers under the trade name "Paragon" in 1910 while located in Washington, DC, where this one was constructed. In 1912 the company moved to Baltimore, Maryland, and changed logos to reflect the new location. These rare stampings show the Washington, DC, address. The propeller is also unusual in its construction of a curved rear face, as most propellers produced since then have a flat rear surface. It also has multilple cross pinned dowels, as shown in the photo below. It was acquired along with this propeller, of similar design and identification.
