Comments: Manufactured and used on the Curtiss Jenny, this relatively rare propeller was used on the improved version of the JN4 which used the same Hispano Suiza (Hisso) engine. The JN6H model had improved ailerons and was used in a variety of military training, including gunnery and bombing operations. The "BAP" number refers to the Bureau of Aircraft Production, established in 1918 as part of the U.S. Army Signal Corps reorganization which eventually led to the development of the U.S. Air Force.
