Bleriot XI - Ebora Propeller for Anzani
c. 1913
Markings:

EBORA
PROPELLER
TYPE 24
No 450
28 H.P. ANZANI

Comments:  Early British propeller made by Ebora Propeller Company, Kingston-on-Thames, Surrey.  Used on a 3 cylinder Anzani radial engine, 28 HP.  Close inspection (not visible in photograph) of the actual surface reveals evidence of hand carving in its manufacture.  Believed to be used on a Bleriot XI monoplane.

Note:  This is an original propeller that had been revarnished when I acquired it.  I have restored it by gently removing the varnish with solvents and applying hand-rubbed shellac (French polish technique) and applying Ebora decals in the vertical orientation used by that manufacturer.
