Fok D VII (O.A.W.)
8476/18

Comments:  Very rare German built Axial propeller for the famous Fokker DVII number 8476, using a BMW 200 HP engine. "O.A.W." refers to the manufacturing facility, "Ostdeutsche Albatros Werke" Propeller is attached to the engine with a Rupp fastener, and drill holes are on the rear of the hub.  This allowed rapid removal and replacement of the propeller on the engine.  This is also one of the rare instances where a wooden propeller is specifically identified for the actual aircraft usage.
